Graphic Resume Value Profile Examples

Graphic resume value profiles (aka infographic resumes) are a modern and eye-catching format that can be used as a supplemental document in addition to your resume. Designed with creativity to fit on a single page, graphic resume value profiles can be included as a downloadable document from your LinkedIn profile, you can use them as handouts at networking events, and bring them with you to an interview to be left behind with your interviewers.

Infographics are being used more and more frequently in traditional marketing, and there are good reasons for that: graphics and color make a document pop. It is true in traditional marketing and it is true for your graphic resume value profile (aka an infographic resume). Graphics, color, charts, graphs, callout boxes, and other design techniques provide you with an attractive and effective way of promoting your qualifications, differentiating you and making you more memorable than your competitors for the job.

Your infographic value profile, besides just being an effective way to convey your skills and experience, are a great way to enhance and promote your personal brand. One of the most common ways our clients use graphic value profiles is to upload them as content to their LinkedIn profile, so that visitors to their profile can easily view them or download them. We recommend that your graphic resume be uploaded in Adobe PDF for this purpose.

Many clients have also told us that bringing their graphic resume value profile to the interview is an effective use. The interviewer has their traditional resume at that point, and the graphic resume can be a memorable leave behind that will remind the interviewer how impressed they were with you.

Lisa produced a great product that is better than what I expected. I found that going through the worksheet was helpful in bringing new things to mind - things that weren't originally on the resume I produced - that translated to my final resume. I found your method very effective. By setting parameters for review & deadlines eliminated the normal mundane 'back-and-forth' that is all too often present in projects nowadays. I did recommend DCS to two of my colleagues & also to my sister.

My opportunity search is going reasonably well. I have had about 6 agencies submit me to about 10 openings. Half of those agencies I had not worked with previously and had to go interview with them to prove that I can dress myself correctly etc. All of them were pleased with the new resume. One just couldn't stop saying "wow".

Two of the agencies asked for info on where I had it done and I gave them the pertinent details. I believe they were interested in using your services for some of their clients vs having someone in house or local, especially after seeing the spectacular job you did on mine.

Of the 10 openings they submitted my resume to, I have had one two-hour interview (managers in a different city) and three company site interviews. I believe I have a good chance of receiving an offer from the last one I did of these on Friday.

In addition to the agencies, I have researched approximately 40 companies that looked interesting and submitted my resume directly to them via email (75%) and fax (25%). For handful that were especially interesting, I spent some extra effort on company research and customized the blind-submittal letter to target them and also found operations managers email addresses. Bypassed the HR department and careers@/jobs@ generic buckets. None of these direct contacts had a relevant position advertised on their website or any of the job boards . . . Of all of these, one of them has responded favorably and has given me two rounds of interviews thus far. They are in the process of drafting a contract offer, which I hope to see soon. This was a company that didn't even know they were in need of someone like me before my resume/letter came floating into their view. :-)

Very happy with the results thus far. I'll definitely keep plugging your services when appropriate in the future.

(Then several days later from above client)

Just dropping you a quick note to let you know that I have received the first contract draft for my new position. It will be a one year contract at a leading Canadian fixed-wireless internet service provider. Decent rate, decent people, interesting work all await me next week. This was a place that I had mentioned previously that didn't have any positions of this type advertised at all, and didn't consciously know they needed my help, before the wonderful new resume landed in front of them. I attribute my landing of this contract almost 100% to the super job you did on my resume. I had the raw materials, but you sure got them to "clean up nice" :-)

It is an excellent marketing document. Congratulations! As a marketing executive I couldn't have done better myself!

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. I have been busy interviewing. I am on the brink of an offer in Boston and Pittsburgh. Boston is the role I'm hoping for. It is a great role with a world leading paper manufacturing company. I believe the resume and cover letter you prepared was very helpful in my job search. It clearly was far better than what was proposed by xxxxxxxxx consultants - the outplacement firm that I was working with. I got a lot of attention from headhunters after the first wave of your blast e-mail. Many discussions but nothing that came from it -- mostly match issues. Thanks for your support and I will keep in touch.
