Quick Resume Writing Tip: This example resume illustrates that even when it seems impossible to find a way to describe your accomplishments using numbers, you can still describe your results and the benefits you produced for your employers. Like we’ve done in this example resume, rather than the actions, place the emphasis of your accomplishment statements on the results that each action/accomplishment produced. Did you improve something? Increase or expand something? Strengthen…enhance…reduce…streamline, etc. Remember–it isn’t what you know how to do, because many other applicants will also know how to do the same things; it is what you do with what you know how to do. Always showcase accomplishments in your resume, but remember that it is the result of that accomplishment that should be emphasized.
Client Testimonials
Michelle has a wonderful ability to pull lots of information into a concise, action-oriented resume. The first two people I sent mine to while networking both said WOW! I highly recommend her services.

Morning, Michelle, I have cc’d you on an e-mail to Nancy several minutes ago. I think that note pretty well sums up my response to your inquiry about how things are going! It has been a pleasure to work with you and your company. You’ve got a great thing going there. Very professional, accountable and so easy to work with.

I really like the work you have done and I now understand how a pro like you can take a pretty good document to whole different level. Early on in my experience with your company, I was curious how my personal brand would come through. As my wife reviewed your work with me, she said ‘this is so YOU’. Mission accomplished! So, congratulations and thank you to you, Nancy, for a job well done. Please count me as a very satisfied customer and feel free to use me as a customer reference if the need should ever arise.

I wanted to let you know that in an interview today (large project management/consulting firm), I was complemented on the quality of my resume. The interviewer said it was one of the best he's seen. I followed up with the "thank you for the interview letter" which, is excellent as well. I thought you should know what an impact your work is making in my career search and I'm grateful that out of all the choices that I had, I selected your firm (and you). Anyway, it appears that I'm on my way, thanks to your ability to put my career and value proposition on 2 sheets of paper!
