Quick Cover Letter Writing Tip: Recruiters are busy and will literally spend just seconds reviewing your resume and cover letter. The example cover letter above shows how your letter should get straight to the point. Your cover letter should be written in a way that makes it extremely easy for the recruiter to quickly scan and come away with a clear understanding of your objective and your key qualifications. This way, they can quickly and easily match your experience and qualifications to the specifications of the positions they are trying to fill. While your cover letter should still have a strong emphasis on accomplishments and results, it should also be very factual and concise. Using bullet points to call out key points is a good idea. You should also make sure that you clearly communicate not only the type and level of position you are seeking, but also the industries in which you have experience and your geographic preferences. This is the only situation in which we recommend revealing your salary expectations in your cover letter, as well. Recruiters need this information in order to do their job. Ideally, you should list your salary preferences as a range. If you can avoid it, you should not reveal salary expectations to potential employers until you have been offered a job.

Client Testimonials

Great news ! After not much success with my job search I had your company rewrite my resume. Immediately after I received my resume from you I started to get interviews. Sometimes up to 3 different companies a week. After only 4 weeks of interviewing I am delighted to tell you today I have received a job offer for a wonderful job. Not only is a great company and location it is also a pay increase of 28%. I did the math and the cost of my resume has only 1% of my pay increase. The Human Resource Manager said that she literally received hundreds of resume and mine stood out among all of them. Thanks so much.
